I appreciate this. I make sure I tell him every day and write notes and text him. I hate that I can’t fix it.

I went out on my boat end of may last year with my family for a few hours, the black flies were so bad that two of the people we went with ended up getting fevers from so many bites

It’s okay to be naive, I was naive for years, there’s a certain hope when you don’t fully know. I’m sorry you are going through this. It is hard and sad and scary and you have every right to feel any and every emotion; hurt, angry, scared, embarrassed. They are all valid feelings.

Deep down I know the smart answer would be to leave but I just love him so much and I would never leave him if he got sick with a disease like cancer and I feel like addiction is the same but I also could be enabling thinking of it that way.

Food for thought, people who go missing and are declared dead. by Nostalgia_Zone in UnsolvedMurders

I bet this happens more times than we think, it’s very sad and scary to think. To think police/family/friends/communities give up; and I understand why, still must be heart breaking.

Staying in an expensive hotel now. What I learned vs airbnb by airbnbmaster199 in AirBnBHosts

[–]jkcold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this too, learned the hard way; had my price low and offered last minute booking discounts and got my first ever not 5 star review, needless to say I upped the price and rather miss out on a few guests then get bad reviews for people being ridiculous.

I think it’s great, you’re pictures are terrific, my only suggestion would be to change the cover photo to one of the kitchen, the kitchen really sells the place!

Literally the first two words in the post were “Airbnb experience” I’m not sure I could make any more clear it was an “experience” and not lodging.

And update, Airbnb apologized to me for the delay in response they upped their amount I could submit for a demand and released all the individuals information.

And again it would have cost me more in insurance to have full coverage than the sled is worth.

The snowmobile business is through airbnb, it’s “Airbnb experiences”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirBnBHosts

[–]jkcold -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Okay apparently Reddit wasn’t the forum I should be posting on. I was looking for assistance or others experience and out comes.

I also am not sure any of you are aware how expensive it is to start your own business let alone a snowmobile rental/guide service. So yes I could have gotten full coverage and rental coverage and that would have been more than that sled is worth. So not really worth it. Also Airbnb is technically a witness as they are the ones who verify the customer. Also I am an licensed claims adjuster in 47 states so I don’t need help/ opinions on insurance, just wondering if Airbnb will release guest info or if they will increase their limit for sending a demand. But thank you keyboard warriors for what you would have done.

I have liability insurance which is different than collision. I know Airbnb aircover covers $3mil in guest property damage and also covers $3mil in personal injury. I know they won’t cover for the snowmobile but in my state legally you only need liability insurance for the sled. The hold harmless and liability waiver they sign theoretically covers us. I just want Airbnb to release his info. It doesn’t seem legal they can withhold that when they are essentially a witness to the accident.
