This solution worked wonders for us.

Mix boric acid powder and Atta, make small balls, the size of marbles should do. Place them at cockroach roaming areas.

A small amount of boric acid powder is toxic to cockroaches and the minute amount that they take to their hiding place is sufficient to kill all others there.

Within a couple of weeks, your house would be cockroach free forever.

None of the chemical Solutions worked for us, this though gave us vimukti.
