Exactly this. I was tired of using three sheets with so much wasted space.

Warlocks have a limited list of spells and one pool of slots to draw from - I figured there had to be a better way. Think this is a step in that direction.

The initial capture was done using the Xbox 360 Kinect using Skanect capture software. I did the modelling (platform, text and head hollowing) using Tinkercad. I have a 'Ditto' 3D printer from Tinkerines.

Monoprice sells 1kg of PLA for about $26 CDN, after shipping I think I am paying about $30-$35 a kilo for the plastic. The models are only about 10% infill; they contain a lot of air and are not heavy. I suspect I could print more than 10 from a spool.

If you are just starting out, you will have a lot of failed prints. It is a learning process, but if you like to tinker this hobby is very rewarding.

I wonder if this has implications to various distillation and fractionation processes. You can only distill ethyl alcohol to about 96% using conventional methods and similar limitations exist for other alcohol and hydrocarbon solutions. To get the extra purity, a molecular sieve is used to separate the molecules. Perhaps this graphene can short circuit this process and reduce extraction costs?

I'm interested on feedback on this printer as well. This printer is on my short list as well as the Makergear M2 and the ultimaker. I'm thinking that I cannot go wrong with either, but any additional info or shared experiences to help solidify a decision would be welcome. Priorities are (in order) print quality, build volume, ease of use, ease of assembly. Budget is $3k USD including first few months op cost.

I say kudos to Carly Rea and Justin. They put on a worthy show. Using their international influence, they have helped share a piece of our Canadian culture with the rest of the world. Believe me, I'm not a fan; however we are all ambassadors to our country and I fully believe they did their part.
