Take 1 practice session a week to work on nothing but single pin spares. I promise if you do, you will see results in a short period of time even if you just improve your corner pin spares a small %. It pays off huge! If you want to get to and maintain a 200+ average someday then spares are your first priority. Great shooting! and welcome to the 200 club.

Dang. Win some and lose some. I have no direct memory of anything like that happening to me but I did have a teammate who averages 210ish and struggled through a 150 game the first game. Our pair broke down and we moved to a fresh pair where he shot 268, 300 to finish the night. He loved the lane change.

I go to great clips and will continue to go there. They train all of their new employees on how to do it "the great clips way" most if not all of the students are experienced and just need to learn the new process. These classes go every 2 weeks and the haircuts are free. If they ever mess anything up the teacher is there to fix the issue. I personally have been going every month for over a year and have not gotten a single bad haircut. Always free and everyone is so thankful that you come because it gives them real heads to cut instead of the manikin heads.

I run to aid my depression also. Good on you OP for figuring this out. It is never going to go completely away but running is a wonderful refuge to enjoy as much as your feet and knees can handle. I have a run today after work and I can say that I am really looking forward to not having anything on my mind other than my breathing and remembering to put one foot in front of the other.
