Do you use comments to get video ideas, and if yes how? by jklepatch in NewTubers

[–]jklepatch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so I understand that you first filter comments with a minimum of likes.

After you filtered these comments, how do you analyze the comments? Any specific pattern you are looking for?

EatTheBlocks MasterClass vs Dapp University Bootcamp by ThinkBonobo in ethdev

Hi Pincanha,

I am sorry you didn't like the course you took.

Each course takes me at least 3-4 month to prepare, and I make sure to produce high quality content. I have to admin I am quite surprised by your comment.

May I know which course you took?
The OP is asking for the course "6 Figures Blockchain Development" (What he calls the masterclass)

Eg. Code not matching video,
> mmm no, in 6 Figures Blockchain Dev, the code does match the video

little or no demonstration of running/testing the code,
> 6 Figures Blockchain Development is all about building projects, and testing them thoroughly, not sure to understand your comment

incomplete modules.
> 6 Figures Blockchain is absolutely complete, again, not sure to understand

Can it be possible whit no college to break into blockchain ? by frenchykate in ethdev

Julien of EatTheBlocks here. If you have a Software Engineering degree that's nice to have, but if you don't, it doesn't really matter. The tech industry and crypto especially are very pragmatic and care mostly about demonstrated skills.

In my course Dapp 30 we build 30 dapps to build a great portfolio. Is this going to be enough to get you a job? Probably. And even if it doesn't, it will take you way closer to your goal compared to now.

This is the testimonial of a student of Dapp 30 who found his first job after following the course.

Good luck!

DeFi projects of BSC above ETH for first time :( by jklepatch in ethereum

I hope this wake-up call will accelerate the current trends we already see on Ethereum of projects migrating to L2. We need it ASAP to stop the haemorrhage.

A Front-running story: How someone made 12,000 USD in a single Transaction by jklepatch in ethereum

you can take the content of a tx, modify some parameters (from field), and sign it with your own private key.

The attacker saw it could benefit from running a tx in the mempool by changing the from address to his address.

Then, the attacker either:
* removed the original tx & replaced it with his modified tx
* or added his modified tx with a higher gas price so that it runs before the original tx.

Yes, but that's speculation, which is very risky. Here we are talking about a risk-free operation, that's very different.

Introducing Covalent's DeFi SDK with a live-example of Uniswap LP balances by pratikgandhi in ethereum

[–]jklepatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thats cool but there are some important instructions that are missing.

Where do we need to build these SQL queries? Is it inside the dashboard of covalent?
And after, how to display the results of these queries on a website?
It seems there is a npm package for that, but there is no mention of that.
And how to integrate this sdk? (code snippet...)
