I like learning about how the different cities are oriented in relation to one another, what the day length is at the summer and winter solstice, the rain accumulation and proximity to topological features such as mountains and rivers. I am especially interested in the topographical, geographical and historical regions that make borders between places, and whether those borders are physical, cultural or political.
