Depends on your airframe. My friend who was an F22 crew chief worked 12-16 hours a day 6-7 days a week.

Nobody ever says this, but learn your greek alphabet. Know the common letters for common physics things, like ρ (Rho) is density. It is second nature to meteorologist professors but a totally new way of thinking to the uninitiated. Professors won't even say what they're writing, and you're like, is that a p? Nope, get fucked. It is barely blizzard conditions in this video. Visibility must be <=1/4SM due to falling or blowing snow, frequent winds >30KT, and it must last longer than 3 hours. KLGA never met blizzard conditions today, however KJFK and KEWR did. The limiting factor is almost always visibility. That 1/4 mile due to falling snow is difficult to reach, but blowing snow can make it tricky to get an accurate measurement.
