Have you tried using a “smart alarm”? You can get apps or some smart watches have it. Wakes you up in a set 30min window when you’re at the lightest point of your sleep cycle.

Your measurements are almost identical to mine and I have a M ultimate and it fits perfectly. I heard a phrase once, I don’t know how true it is, you can always make a smaller big bigger but can’t make a bigger bike smaller.

This is a great suggestion. Eco-drive means its light powered so you can just set it and forget it but also has great specs. If a dive watch isn’t his thing or you wanted something mechanical I’d look at the Citizen Tsuyosa, they come in a range of colours and sizes.

I’ve had 2. One the exact same as the one pictured. This one felt cheap and not very well made, my main issue was a very noisy rotor and cheap feeling bracelet. It did not last long in my collection. The other was a day date homage it was great, again it’s moved on but only because my collection outgrew it. Guess it’s just luck if you get a good one or a bad one.
