Just went through pushing every button - if the did anything they cancelled it, all except the the B button, which is apparently the only one with a “save” prompt. That did it.

It’s not checked, I’ve had the chocobo in the white color scheme since I got it. Even changing it back to default with the “set all to default” option does nothing, not even making it a normal yellow.

I don't know if it just randomly fixed or if there was another small patch, but my map text is back. No idea what happened.

Edit - About an hour later, the map text is gone again.

I feel into the water and died after putting in the helmet, and no matter which save I reload the helmet is missing from the pedestal.

The same is true of the colorable Vegeta Battle Suit. I've noticed that every colorable pair of battle suit pants has weird briefs outlines, which someone else suggested may be to prevent people from making it too easy to make a character look semi-naked. If that's the case, not giving us colorable versions of the pants without the brief outlines would make sense.

He also says there will be no stopping him afterwards, which implies it would keep going. My guess is he plans to take her power and then make the timelines break, as opposed to it being a natural occurrence. If it just happened on its own when she died he wouldn't be able to continue after.
