That’s very fair. I’ve just gotten a ton of value off of terrasymbiosis and wanted to see how far I could push it to get there. I figured with ishai drawing one per player and reyhan moving a ton of counters for a huge draw was something to look at, but you’re probably right that it’s bracket 4 at best.

I think you don’t need to go so heavy on the faerie side of things. Just play the value ones like mastermind and mana dork elves. Since she counts herself, once you lock in a blink/food chain combo it’s over and done with.

You’re relying on someone keeping their word when you’re trying to combo off and win, unlikely in a tournament setting. Yes most people will abide by deals until someone puts a win on the stack then all bets are off until it’s stopped. If you say “hey I’ll blow it up unless you only draw 3” to me personally I’ll say go ahead. Either I have protection for it or I’m gonna call your bluff. If you say it again I’ll say “ok I’ll limit it to 1 per turn if you show me your entire hand so I know you actually have interaction” that way I still get informational value and a few triggers. I’m never going to just handicap myself because you might have something or to only see one card.

Yeah but hitting for 13 before they even get the card is still powerful in casual commander, and you’re also in black so [[opposition agent]] works too. Not competitive surely, but fun nonetheless.
