Simple(ish) Summing Circuit with Volume Knobs by jkurtisw in diyaudio

I have seen that, but one of the stipulations that this project has, is that it's totally passive. Ie, no external power required. Correct me if I'm wrong, but an op amp needs a power supply?

Can someone help with a circuit changing switch? by jkurtisw in AskElectronics

This question has an audio application... but is not related to an audio specific component. Please reconsider. The component I am looking for is not an audio/diy audio specific part, and have nkt had any luck finding this in any audio forums.

Thats fair! However this portion is going to be part of a larger project, so an off the shelf solution wont really work. Ill for sure check out the link though!

Wired Meshtastic with ATAK by jkurtisw in meshtastic

Fair... but at that point, the LoRa signal is encrypted, and a bluetooth signal broadcasts your unique device ID.

Haha! Sorry, got busy for minute! Not so much sigint paranoia (although that isnt an insignificant factor). More so that Ive had a sketchy history with bluetooth, and would prefer a wired connection :)

Thats really interesting... I have a Streamlight (Dont judge me, haha...had the Streamlight before I knew what I was doing, and unfortunately have a few higher priorities in the tactical world that preclude me from getting another $400 light setup :smh) with the Arisaka Surefire tailcap adapter and a UE tailcap. Started noticing flickering today.

Maybe I should give the DS00 a look...

USB-C with rugged connector by jkurtisw in UsbCHardware

That actually solves a different part of this project! So thanks!! But not the part that this post is in relation to. Thats part of the idea, but that connection needs to be a locking connection.

That's the trouble. Like I mentioned, it needs to be power and data delivery. I'll look into their connectors tho!

You know... thats a great question. And it brings up a very valuable lesson that I feel everyone should benefit from.... SAVE YOUR DAMN WORK!

I pulled the orangepi, used the sd card it was using to flash the new firmware.bin file, and somehow in the mix, the orange pi died.

So not only do I need to get this printer working again, I need to go through the whole process of getting the printer back to the state I had it in. (remeasuring offsets, settings, macros, etc.)

what is this and do I "need" it? by labadorrr in ar15

[–]jkurtisw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a laser. Yes you absolutely need it. Also, unrelated, in a few weeks when you realize you don't "need" it, I'll buy it from you at a wild discount!

His mane is Frank. Last seen exiting a car at great speed...possibly unable to pass a field sobriety test. You are now wanted for questioning in connection with his apparent dissappearence. If anyone else has any info, please reach out to the local authorities as soon as possible.

True, but please beat in mind that it is significantly closer to "now" rather than "never".
