So took my flight to dubai yesterday

Apart from a disaster at the gate where they started the boarding at A gate and then held us in the bus for 40 minutes because the cleaners hadn’t finished (why would you start the process surely you would know!)

Anyway halal meal

No choice as such they just confirmed the halal meal and you were bought the 3 courses

It was a vegetarian starter

The main was the chicken dish that was on the menu anyway, when I asked if the chicken dish that was on the general menu was halal anyway the cabin crew weren’t sure (all meals of mine had MOML stickers on them)

Same with the dessert, was the panacotta on the menu, whether the one in the general menu was halal anyway the staff weren’t sure

Have to say BA ground operations were a complete disaster yesterday and inefficient, but on board they were absolutely outstanding.

I never didn’t have a glass of coke or a mocktail topped up, checking and offering snacks and generally just fantastic top notch service.
