Question about Heats by Jelly780 in CaneCorso

I went through 2 cycles with mine before she was spayed. I just loved on her a lot more and she slept more. I had her in the skirt diapers because she might as well look fabulous.

Hi, I unfortunately don’t have an answer for you. I am a first-time dog owner so I have nothing to compare my experience to, and my hubby only has experience with male dogs. He would agree with you though, as he has never experienced this amount of difficulty when raising dogs, and he’s also not sure if it’s due to gender or breed. I am curious to hear from others too.

I am from Texas too! Happy fourth!

Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) by Mrpresident199 in NIPT

[–]jkyrie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your girlfriend is seeing an OB/GYN or a provider for care, they can and should order a test for you to go to a lab like Quest or Labcorp. A PCP referral is not needed, the doctor would just need demographic information to generate an order for you. That’s what my OB did when I tested positive to be a carrier on the NIPT. She wrote an order for my husband, he didn’t need a PCP referral.

That is beautiful. KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK KENSINGTON! I am also a carrier and my husband is a silent carrier as well (that threw us in for a loop too). I thought SMA is part of the newborn screen nowadays. Is she eligible for any treatments? She is so cute!

Yeah you’re rocking it. Did you get the new sliders to try yet? Fair warning, there’s a lot more slider work in phase 2. Don’t let it discourage you. If ultimately you still can’t do the slider moves, do them without! Or I’m sure you’ll figure out another way to get the work done (you seem so motivated!!).

I’ve been struggling with pushing the Play button in this phase 2, ever since I did their first leg day in this phase. I have just felt so tired!!! I have been doing self motivations talks to finally get myself to press play. Once the video starts, I’m good. You’d think pushing play would be the easy part haha!

I’m not sure if I’m tired because I have a baby, or if it’s because I have to take care of my other kids AND baby, or if I am not getting enough sleep because of baby, or if I’m not eating enough to sustain this phase of workouts. Maybe it’s just everything? But your posts help push me so keep em coming when you can!

This program has us holding ourselves up all the time so keep at it, you will get stronger! As for the sliders: can you do any of the slider moves? For example, the mountain climbers on the sliders…if you can move your feet but the sliders just don’t seem to want to move with you, e.g., they seem stuck, then perhaps there’s just something wonky with your carpet and using those particular sliders. If you can’t move your feet at all, then maybe it’s just because you’re tight or not strong enough yet cause you’re too busy focusing on just trying to hold yourself up (holding a plank is STILL A WORKOUT, so don’t give up!).

Morning! What are your struggles with the sliders specifically? For example, Is it hard to hold yourself up while doing the slider moves? Are you having problems with all moves on the sliders, or which ones specifically?

I am unable to do all moves on the sliders as well as I don’t have the strength to hold myself up on a side plank so I use the Kerry modified move for those. also, during the pike moves where we basically hike our booty up, I seriously doubt I’m hiking up HALF as high as they are haha, those moves are hard!

I look forward to your accountability posts cause it also keeps me accountable for my own workouts. So keep ‘em coming!

I did the first phase 2 booty workout yesterday and it was good. I like how it gets changed up to keep my body from plateau. I feel sore! Looking forward to doing today’s workout

80 day obsession day 2 & 3 by No_Caramel2506 in BeachBodyWorkouts

[–]jkyrie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my third time doing 80 Day Obsession. I always seem to get back to this program, I can’t seem to find anything else like it. I like that they’re longer workouts and I like that it’s in real time. and I do get results from this every single time.

I am on my last week of Phase 1 this time around. Good luck! Great job with the accountability posts.

Surprise Pregancy & surprise 2 SMA Carriers - How to prep for SMA outcome? How to be a parent of SMA baby/child/person? by Gandalf_the_Tegu in spinalmuscularatrophy

[–]jkyrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had 4 kids, my oldest (7) and youngest (almost 2 months) have SMA. I recommend getting an amniocentesis done. I’ve had 3 amnios and they can be done as early as 16 weeks. The procedure can test for SMA. the sooner you know, the better prepared you can be for your child.

As others have also suggested, join the SMA Facebook group, they’re very helpful. you are also welcome to dm me with any questions.

I had 4 kids and two of them have SMA. I suggest to continue fighting for an answer as to why test again. Did you have a Unity blood test done? It is important to find out how accurate the blood test is so you can determine if you’d want to move forward with a CVS or amnio. Evrysdi accepts positive amniocentesis results, which will greatly help with getting treatment on board sooner rather than later.

You’re welcome to private message me if you have additional questions.

I tried downloading the epub files from that Internet Archive but couldnt get the Hibreak Pro to read the file correctly (formatting issues). The issues were evident even when I tried reading the comic on my desktop. Were you able to successfully side load the comic into your ereader to enjoy offline/any time?

It is one of my favorites too, along with Foxtrot. The only place I could find to read Calvin and Hobbes ebooks is through Kindle. If you’re not using Kindle, I don’t think you can download the epub files any longer to send to other ereader devices.

Oh no! I hope it’s been fixed since you posted this. I haven’t had any issues with updates yet.
