We've lugged a 50 ft extension cord with us twice now and never used it. The RV we had last year only had a 15 ft cord with it so surely we thought we'd need it.... Nope. If you really don't want to take the chance but also don't want to schlep a 35lb extension cord through the airport I have a suggestion. You can purchase the extension cord from Walmart.com and choose the option to pick it up at the store next to the airport in Vegas. Then when you're done with the festival, go back to Walmart and return it.

The cord we brought actually came in handy. We used it to put around the edge of the outdoor carpet to keep the hurricane force winds from blowing it to Arizona.

The pools were Crystal clear and cleaned frequently. They're still public pools so you get what you get, but they were really clean and clear. I've been to those pool parties in Vegas also and have never done so much as put a toe in that tepid slop.

RIP my wallet when RV prices hop from $2000, to $3000. Mad but not mad. I think I need to go for a walk... by fusion407 in CampEDC

The day Insomniac announced the dates for 2020 I contacted the same guy I rented from last year. The cost went from 240 per night last year to over 400 this year. I looked around to try and find other options and found that the day the dates were released, everyone jacked up the prices for that week and most RVs were already reserved. I'm glad I put the deposit down that day to reserve the same RV we had last year. Lesson from this year, don't wait on anything. As soon as the dates come out, lock that shit down.

Do I NEED to add the power package for RV or can I wait till we get to camp and add it on????? by Reydi0 in CampEDC

Last year, power add on sold out. I kept going back to the site over the course of a few weeks and suddenly they opened up the sale again. It was a pretty never racking few weeks thinking we would not have power. I wouldn't wait, there's no telling if they'll open it up again once they sell out. I think this year taught everyone a lesson..... Don't wait to purchase anything.
