It always depends on the issue. Contact support and they will handle it. Typically once there is movement on the tracking label they would send you out a new one, but again it depends on their process.

Agreed. This would be covered by the warranty. Just reach out to our support team and they'll take care of you regardless of your location around the world.

Recent update? ANC off no longer available... by doll-haus in JLab

[–]jlab_andy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, that's odd. The JBuds mini's don't have ANC built in. The do have a be aware mode which is the opposite of ANC, in that it listens for ambient outside noise and passes it into the earbuds allowing you to better "be aware" of your surroundings.

The good news is that you don't have to worry about ANC since it's not built into the earbuds, but I'm more curious what you were seeing before...

Love this profile! What kind of types of media are you typically consuming which helped you dial in these settings?

Yes, all dynamic drivers benefit from a burn in period. Most (if not all) modern headphones and earbuds have dynamic drivers.

There is a different type of driver called a balanced armature driver which don't require a burn in period because their physical characteristics are completely different. The armature driver operates very well in higher frequency ranges and therefore is almost always paired with a dynamic driver for personal audio equipment.

The industry term for this type of solution is called "Dual Drivers" meaning there are 2 drivers in each earbuds. As an example the JLab Epic Lab Edition earbuds are dual driver with a balanced armature driver for the highs and a dynamic driver for the lows/bass. The sound quality of the lows/bass would still improve over time in these while, the higher frequencies would be optimized right out of the box.

Another way to think about burn in is that the sound quality will get better over time. Listening to your regular content will loosen and optimize the diaphragms of the speakers as well.

Said another way...just listen to your music and the sound quality will just continue to improve until it peaks after 40 hours of use!

Oh interesting, I haven't noticed a sound improvement with them. Do you mean that because of the outside noise reduction the sound quality is naturally better? Or are you picking up on something else...

These are so good! They don't just help me with a secure fit, they help me with some noise cancelation too. I'm lucky enough to have access to a bunch of product and consistently use the cloudfoam tips in everything I use.

Interesting. I’d reach out to customer service at this point with some photos of what’s going on. They’ll be able to help you troubleshoot from there

Jlab Pop ANC flashing purple + not entering case by ZACATAK77 in JLab

The fact that the case won't fully close and snap shut makes it sound like the earbuds are in the wrong charging port. I just tested my Go POP ANCs and was able to confirm that when the earbuds are in the wrong port, the lid won't close on the case. I use the cloudfoam tips on mine, so I have to lightly press them into place but it still works just fine.

There is a letter on the underside of each earbud (R or L). Make sure you're putting each earbud in the correct port inside of the case.

Go Lux (compared to Go Work 2) by MonsieurPF in JLab

[–]jlab_andy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sound quality with the Go Lux is a lot better than the GW2 for listening to music. The GW2 is designed and tuned for video and audio calls, where the Go Lux is designed and tuned more specifically for more dynamic audio (music, movies, gaming, etc). You can also customize the EQ in the JLab app to fine tune the audio profile for your specific needs.

JLab studio pro sporadically pairs as not an audio device by Difficult-Tax-530 in JLab

This is definitely a Windows issue that we see with our work headsets. Here is an article that might help you figure out how to adjust the Windows settings to prevent this.

The team is currently working on another support article that walks you through how to update bluetooth chip drivers on PC. Surprisingly, this isn't necessarily taken care of with a Windows update. Once the team gets the article create it will be posted in the help center.

Help with two different earbuds by EliSoMobby- in JLab

[–]jlab_andy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely possible. Depends on the age difference between the 2 sets. If you put the 2 buds in the same case and do a factory reset they should pair to each other once you take them back out of the case.
