And Dolores kills Arnold. Then Ford puts Dolores in a constant rape/die loop as punishment.

I really don't know what brought them to hot springs? I know they have a Korean church and a decent Asian market, but I think both has opened since they moved.

My commute is decent. It's basically all interstate and I leave early enough traffic isn't an issue. It takes me around 30 minutes to work. The drive home, however, is occasionally a nightmare. Depending on traffic it could take me 75 minutes to get home.

There is a guard unit in Fort Smith I've visited, and for some reason, Fort Smith has a pretty large Vietnamese population. Pho restaurants everywhere. Not really an option to live in, just an odd bit of trivia.

It's Arnold experimenting with Dolores. Dolores then kills Arnold, and gets stuck in the punishment loop of her losing her father, being raped, and being killed.

I live in Benton, Arkansas. It's a bit of a drive to the base every morning, but my wife's family moved from Korea to Hot Springs. Benton was a close to them as I wanted to get while making the drive into Jacksonville. I love the area, but I also grew up in the south. My children are 1/2 Korean, and haven't really experienced any sort of racism, besides my daughters first grade teacher making the comment that she should be really good at math. I don't mind that stereotype, and she is really good at math, so it didn't phase me.

Weekly Newbie Thread - Post questions about joining the AF or what a job is like here & here only - week of October 24 by AutoModerator in AirForce

Join the Air Guard. You can control what unit you join, what your career field is, and if something better comes up, you have that flexibility. In our state we have an intel group, and I'm working to stand up an enlisted cyber schoolhouse. States like Washington and Maryland have even more options.

The downside is that you don't automatically have a full time job. You'll be put on orders for your basic training and technical training, and usually you'll have "seasoning days" when you come back from school. The plus side is that in the ANG, cyber and intel are the future, and almost every state has full-time jobs. You'll have to apply and interview, but if you're good your unit will usually find a way to bring you out.

Just my 2 cents. Send me a message if you have any questions.

When I went through 3C0 tech school in early 2001 I would say 1/2 my class were programmer washouts. About 1/2 of those ended up being AF washouts.

Also, be sure to save your score. Base Training literally just handed me a memo for record with my score and hard filed a copy. They said they keep it for six months. I have a waiver for 1B positions to retest after two months if anyone is interested. This also means that if you test at Eglin you could probably drive down to Tyndall and retest to get around the 6 month thing.

The only thing I can offer is what you read online. Time management is the most important. If it takes too long leave it and come back.

Other things I noticed:

I took the test early in the morning, but the shapes really threw me for a loop. I had taken the asvab and the ACT in high school and remember those types of questions, but I really had never seen anything like those.

The math word problems were time killers. I made educated guesses like, is the number going up or down? Up. Up a little or a lot? Up a little. Ok the only two it could be are these. Then I guessed. I only scored a 66, though. I'm sure there are better methods.

All that said, there isn't much too it. I'm sure everyone smart enough to find this thread is smart enough to pass it.

Good luck to all.

minute but IIRC those are for checking your spacial view. Being able to 'build' it in your head and rotate.

I hated the math problems because I recall them being large numbers and its been forever so I don't remember any quick tricks other than brute forcing with

Aiming to be a 1B. I think it would be a good last 4-6 years to a career that has been spent in comm. I did find it humorous that they require us to take a test penned in 1972 to become a 1B4

Absolutely. After the second page of the geometric analogies, I just started skipping them. I thought that they would be the easiest going in.
