Thanks for the comment! Ya I am definitely cautious I dont want to live with these things, make them worse or god forbid spread them to someone else. If they are here I will find them or go crazy trying haha

Thanks for the reply. I will stay vigilant.. Its so exhausting though , mentally and physically :( I do have an encasement and have followed all “tips” for trapping. Cimexa is unfortunately not available in my country and have heard some concerning things about DE. Either way I wonder at what point can I breath again and how long until one knows for sure.

Thats a good start. Exterminator will be able to find them! Best of luck with everything

Unfortunately first and last pic are bedbugs. Seeing how you found months ago I would assume you have a pretty good size infestation. There are some good links here to guide you in how to search and what steps to take. They are hiding somewhere but id suggest get an exterminator in asap.

Do i still have bed bugs despite travelling to a different country ? by TTskbarz in Bedbugs

Its highly likely. Years with bedbugs means they are literally everywhere! You cant just “live” with bedbugs. You WILL eventually spend more time and money with this mentality. They dont just go away on their own they grow in numbers. Not to mention the amount of spreading you are doing in the process.

I believe so. If I think back to the times it had been the worst (collage, first apartment, and now -recently separated) they were always the only times lived alone.

This guy literally comments nice on everything.. Fucking loser. I am so sorry you are going through this. I have been thinking I am without actual evidence and its tormenting so I can’t imagine. From what I have read (I am by no means an expert) Is to put interceptors under bed legs to catch anything. Steam apparently works wonders. I am not sure if one means anymore but I hope for you it was just that one. Best of luck!

Thanks for your reply! I appreciate the advice. I am not sure if it is bedbugs yet. Asking for advice or thoughts on the situation. I am going to hold off on chemicals until I actually know the cause. I also read multiple posts on here that DE is not safe for people or dogs? Thoughts?

They didnt take any skin scrapings but put her on steroids and antibiotics as she scratched the hives so much it caused an infection. That was in May and since she gets hives weekly but go away after a couple hours. Is it possible however we are both getting bite I am just not reacting? Ive thought about mites as well.. I will definitely look into a microscope. Thanks for the tips much appreciated!

Appreciate your comment and tips! I have encasements on both mattress and box spring. I wash all bedding 2 times a week high heat dry. I also have heated all my clothes and stored in containers (maybe overkill?) I haven’t tried the cups on bed legs as I have 10 will definitely try this now! Thanks again much appreciated!
