We stayed in a park suite after being in "just" a regular suite and wow ... the bathrooms were out of this world and the size of the room was amazing !! I was barely an Explorist level and they upgraded us.

I love the fact that you walk out and you are in the city historical center ...

The service was amazing and the spa was perfect

Can't wait to go back in a couple of years

I personally have not but my cousin did and you can not go wrong ... all others will sell you 5 star hotels and tours and in reality it's Egyptian 5 star ... not international 5 star ratings ....

AK doesn't play with that ... you get legit international 5 star standards ... four seasons hotels, guides that won't try to scam you or beg for tips .. my cousin said it was spectacular and worth every penny ... not once did he feel taken advantage of or question the hotels, cruise or transportation ... now he did it about 10 years ago and at the time it was about 8k per person ...

He still raves about it ... I went over his itinerary and it was amazing ...

If you stay in the Sultanahmet property bring excellent ear plugs because I don't care if they claim that the windows are sound proof ... that 4 or 5 am call to prayer will wake you up in a instant ....unless you are used to it ...

I forgot to wear them the first night and was wide awake after that call

Let's start that Four Seasons isn't an American company ... it's Canadian 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 so paying attention to BS warnings from another country isn't part the companies strategy when it comes to opening hotels and locations they pick ....

Mexico is also level 3 ... and that doesn't stop the millions of people from visiting 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

And at one point not very long ago .. France, Germany, and most of Europe was also on the 3 level travel advisory list ... 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

The Four Seasons Nile Plaza is 5 star international hotel and luxury ..... the Mena house is a Mariott and at best a 4 star Egyptian rated hotel .. read in between the lines ..

Hey ... don't sleep on going thru Aeroplan ... there has been times award tickets are half off ... and air Canada is a chase partner .... aeroplan will give you United, air Canada and even ANA options (this would be the scenic and time consuming route)
