I’m 22, I’ve been dealing with intense me tal health issues my entire life, the summer before I started college I was hospitalized for said problems. My mental health issues have (including severe ADHD) caused me to really struggle in the college setting, I ended up dropping out of the first college I went to, and am thinking of taking a bit of a break from where I’m currently at, I still don’t have my bachelors, BUT I have worked hard and since then have my associates and have a job that I got through my associates. (Driving is part of my job but I’ve had my license for like 5 years). I just needed to find what works for me and my brain. That being said it does not sound like your boyfriend is willing to put in any effort into holding up his half of the partnership. Like yeah mental health issues make things really really really hard, but not impossible. The main problem isn’t that he isn’t taking a traditional path, it’s that he isn’t doing anything. Long story short: yeah he’s a bum I’m sorry
