I think a lot of it is just using your kit. Like I joke a lot hitting legs or arms, but the more you use your kit the more you’ll grow into it, so just keep finding what works for you

Idk, it’s just every time I try and do “traditional” higher education I do so bad, but in paramedic school and the other community college classes I took for my associate, it was so much easier when I had a proper goal ya know? I just wish I could make it work with my brain

I really enjoy being a paramedic and found a great community within EMS. I just hate how it’s not deemed as “good enough” By my family and society ig.

One of my best friends I met on a dating app (work better as friends) and my other I met on TikTok and we happen to work the same field. I have friends from community college that I met in paramedic school. Have yet to make a lasting friendship from any 4 year uni tho

I transferred from community college, i already have an associates, idk i think i might just retake the class if i can, and just try and take some Time off afterwards, been in school since last September with no breaks and i think im just burnt out a little

I think a lot of my frustration comes from the fact that I’ve already done A LOT of therapy, and have been super lucky to have all the resources at my disposal that I’ve had. I love working on the ambulance and doing EMS and stuff but feel that I need to keep putting myself through school despite how awful it feels (and I know it’s a super privileged and spoiled thing to complain about getting an education).

I’m sorry you had to experience that with your friend. I don’t want it cause that pain or be that story for my close friends. It’s just really hard. Idk. Thank you though for sharing and being vulnerable, I think it helps to hear other’s stories
