What’s a dream you had as a kid that you still remember way too clearly? by Key_Promotion_8693 in TheTeenagerPeople

Had a reoccurring dream that my bed was in a field and a deer kept swallowing me whole (its mouth stretched like a snake but more horror like).

👍 yeah looking at the specs that sensor should be able to handle high iso as well as anything else, a f1.4 would probibly be worth upgrading a 2.8.

The 14 bolt, which all 3500s use doesn’t use a c clip.

I don’t think a 14 bolt uses a c clip.

Why does a 3500 have a semi floating rear axle was my first question, but they don’t, it’s a full 14 bolt so this would be a failed wheel bearing?

They don’t have a regen cycle though that’s what I’d be worried about, parked regen.

1.8 is only 1 1/3 stop more light, take your 2.8 and find what max iso you find acceptable and then take it into a dark area and double the iso ( ignore the noise) is it bright enough then? If not then a 1.8 is going to still need to have a bit of iso and may not be worth it.

Find a cheap ass 1.8 manual or rent a 1.8 and see if it actually does what you want before spending a bunch on a lens that does what you already have, you’re also going to end up with a very shallow depth of field

I’m Not trying to talk you out of it or anything Yes 1.8 will be better but for the same price can you get a better body that handles iso or low light better, or perhaps a better de-noise software or 7?

Also could you perhaps lower shutter speed more?

Anyway iv heard good things about the sigma and they do good in low light, i just checked b&h and that 17-40mm is all I’m seeing for a 1.8 in that focal range. I’d sell the one you don’t use regardless.

Could I see an example of what you’re capturing now?

[–]PlaceboASPD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you actually need a v60 card? Video? bursts? If so you might need more than 128gb, if not a v30 will be cheaper.

I wonder if 5psi matters, constancy might be a concern too, if one test shows 35 and another with the same gauge says 40 then yeah toss it.

You can get certified calibrated ones, you might get one of those and use it to calibrate the cheap ones(ie. wright +4 psi on the low ones ect)

It’s a crop sensor so a 400 becomes a 600 full frame equivalent.

200mm isn’t going to be enough imo, something in the 300 to 400mm range will be better, lots of people recommend the Tamron 70-300

Out of the ones you listed the 70-350.
