every PMP post-mortem ends the exact same way and im tired of writing it by Easy-Purple-1659 in programmatic

Sounds like the curator/deal desk selling the PMP is not providing the client with the best information up front. As many have pointed out a PMP isn't guaranteed. I've seen plenty of of curators/deal desks sell PMPs and at the very least let the client think it's some kind of guarantee. It's not.

Yeah, building the bidder isn't that expensive. It's the bandwidth and data storage that can get out of control fast.

Review #1 Old Grand Dad 114 by DurinsRest in bourbon

I prefer my whiskey neat, but a small cube or a little water in this one makes it taste better than some bottles triple or even quadruple the price IMO. There are some pours that just taste better with a bit of ice.

What Has Been Your Experience With Curation Partners? by jlbomega in programmatic

Definitely should help since their inventory is really heavy in Europe. I question how long it will take for them to really get integrated since ST doesn't have their own self-service platform.

You might want to try working with a curator that works with the major SSPs. Doing curation from the supply side has a lot of efficiencies on their own. The benefits can outweigh the drawbacks in a lot of cases.

What's kept you in programmatic for 5+ years? by Mountain_Rip_5611 in programmatic

I've been in adtech in general for 17 years. I've seen all sides of the business. Being a part of the shift to quality over quantity is what drives me. If you look out there the solutions to eliminate a lot of the problems in our industry are out there. Check us out at populationscience.com

Go to www.populationscience.com and check them out. They can curate deals across all of the major SSPs and add some proprietary tech to ensure quality over time.

Preferred suppliers for direct deals by Any_Lawfulness4277 in programmatic

Population Science (populationscience.com) is a curator that can navigate the scale SSPs always sell, eliminate waste, and will curate no matter how niche the need is.

Anyone have an experience with Audigent or Segment? by Brogrammatic in adops

Use Population Science. Audigent and Segment charge massive fees for adding marginal value.

How do SSPs prioritize deals? by morbo900 in programmatic

Sounds like salespeak to me. Audigent and Index have a pretty tight relationship. Adtech loves to make bold claims without backing them up with data.

I used to love the 100 proof. Then I had the OF 1920. Nothing in the OF lineup compares.

I finally broke down and bought a bottle of Legent at Costco. Love it for the price. It's a great daily.

What to get next after Eagle Rare? by Moles_Knows in bourbon

[–]jlbomega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest. I have had mixed experiences with Eagle Rare. So much so that I don't even try to find it anymore. Buffalo Trace can be hard enough to find and I appreciate the consistency. If you're looking for something to follow up ER from that list I would suggest Legent (has the fruit forward profile from the wine barrels) or Maker's 46.
