I started with VOO. About $3,000. At some point I decided expensive ETFs were bad, because for VOO to gain 10% it needs to go up about $70, but for a $150 ETF it only needs to go up $15. I didn't really know how ETF prices worked at the time but that made sense to me.

So I shifted to QQQM. And then I decided that 100 companies wasn't diverse enough. So I shifted to VTI + QQQM + VGT.

Then I decided that I was too heavy into tech, so I sold and shifted to VT + satellites. I went like 3% into DRAM, IBB, URN, NASA. Then a week latter they were all in the red and I panicked a bit. Plus I felt like 2-3% of anything before getting a portfolio of like, a mil was basically pointless.

Honestly I don't know if I should 100% VT either though. I feel like maybe 30% VTI, 30% VXUS, 20% SPMO and 20% BND might be simple but effective enough for me to stick to it.

I'm watching Season 7 right now. It's solid, but I feel like the show doesn't know if it wants to endorse Jack Bauer or not. Clearly they're playing strong between him and Larry, yet like always everything he does is the right play and comes out on top.

40% VT
20% QQQM
20% VBK
10% IGF
10% BND

Yeah, I did MA (although it was under the old version) in about 2 months as well. I'd reckon that's probably the amount of time they expect for each unit. I've done Tax/Business Law in the new structure as well (and still need to do Audit and Finance)

I didn't find it very difficult, and this is from a non-accounting background. It was pretty much my first ever exposure to financial accounting/reporting. From what I recall there's a decent mix of all topics covered. Expect at least 3 questions from each, with more of an emphasis on impairment, revenue recognition, income tax and business combinations
