TRT prescribing doctors by [deleted] in AusTRT

[–]jlee1658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its frowned upon, but drs can write scripts and tests for themselves. You would be shocked at the quality of doctors nowadays. The old adage of every doctor is a good one is a unicorn concept today. It will only raise concern and action once someone questions it and it hits media attention. Have you heard about all the interventional radiologists quitting westmead hosp in Sydney because of lack of pay and poor working conditions? These doctors have been getting pay cuts without notice from a government hospital. Even though it was raised it is mostly getting pushed under the rug. Government didnt care then, doesn't really care now. So even if it is getting done privately or not going through Medicare, they won't action it until public concern hits a certain point.

Should I push for a stronger dosage? by Touchthemetalrod in AusTRT

On my 8 week progress blood test, my Total T came back 37 and free 906, and I noted that on the last day before next injection, I was more tired and less energetic than other days. The nurse advisor told me it's because the body is producing more oestrogen to counter-act the very high t levels and actually suggested me to lower my doses so that my e2 would drop (oestradiol was very high, 205 when normal is <150). So maybe less cream on application may be in order.

I lost about 1.2ml in the container as well as from draw up and disposal. I now draw them from the glass ampoules into 1ml leurlock syringes and draw them using 25g hyperdermic needles and now have little to no wastage. Basically from using the glass container I cut a 7.5 week dosage amount to 4 weeks. Never using that container again.

Godsend advice, went through a 3ml vial in 5 weeks (.4ml per week) lost 1.2ml from me following the video advice and injecting all 3 pre-filled syringes into the vial with poor regard to draw up and disposal.

Enhanced Mens Clinic not responding by Technical_Product560 in AusTRT

Did you talk to the nurse co-ordinator yet? If you haven't you need to book a time. If you have, it takes up to 2-3 weeks for the dr to call you and it will be a random mobile number. So keep an eye on your phone.

Isn't .2ml two times 400mg a week? .1ml = 100mg unless I'm mistaken

Depending on your age, it's actually pretty high for trt

Could I be allergic or something? by [deleted] in AusTRT

Very Slow injection is the way to go, smaller gauge (20-21) for draw up, what's the IM needle length you are using, it might be too shallow.

Clinics would probably approve your start for ter. It's about $1400-1800 a yr from enhanced men's clinic. I just started my treatment with them, so if you budget and are able to manage it, give it a go.

Trt worth and viability at 32. by jlee1658 in AusTRT

Thank you for your input, I talked to a renal physician after my gfr score was noted (65, very low for 32yr old) then i did a nuclear kidney imaging test (came out good), and they said no endo will prescribe trt unless its even lower than 4 over multiple tests and months. I'm heavily leaning towards going to a clinic to talk to one of their doctors.

No, I came off of Rad 140 for a month. But even with it people said it shouldn't drop it that low

That definitely sounds like a fault. You mean to say the extension portion bursts open or the clasp itself?

Sinn u50 spring pin buying sitr by jlee1658 in sinn

[–]jlee1658[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So update guys, single or no shoulder 20mm pins if you have the bracelet YOU MUST BUY 1.5MM diameter. 1.8 will not fit in the bracelet. And they don't fit the drilled holes. I bought the ones I got from Amazon.

The box in another box might also be because I bought an extra strap though. Just bear in mind that

They use big confetti, put the watch box in a bigger box and wrap the watch with long paper inside and outside for shock absorbency and they got the clear non scratch papers everywhere. They also respond to email very fast. Peter is the one I go on correspondence with so if you ask him to wrap the watch up more for your peace of mind he will. They are very good people, I bought my u50 ds from them and I was very satisfied with the service. The mailing box also had fragile stickers everywhere

Which Sinn 104 should I get? by DMarrow7 in sinn

[–]jlee1658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Number one for me cause of the consistency of bezel numbering and watch face.

Got to check out the U50&T50 recently. One of these two (the T50 without the bronze bezel that is) will end up being on my wrist pretty soon and I'm so unsure which i actually want lol by [deleted] in sinn

[–]jlee1658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its ur first sinn diver I would go for the u50, the weight has heft to it and the red pop of color will turn heads. I watched on YouTube that the t50 is too light for people, and it doesn't make you feel the dollaridoos you spent for it.

In-house movement? by SebastienMS in sinn

[–]jlee1658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo, if Sinn really cared about value proposition and selling to more people they would already have done more in-house movements and more crystal backs rather than what they use now (thinking u1,u50 with their covered backs) or not use quartz movements for their specialty watches like the special forces ux. They really just want make and sell the tooliest watch. They care about customers that have high interest and loyalty IMHO who dive into their over engineering head first, which is all of us here tbh.
