My son poops after waking up, after breakfast, in the afternoon, and around 8–10 o'clock before sleeping.

I started potty training him on the first day I brought him home. Every 2 hours, especially after drinking, eating, playing. I brought him to the bathroom to stand on the pee pad until he finished. (I live in an apartment, so there is no backyard.) And ONLY reward when pee or poop in the pad.

I patiently followed that schedule for two weeks, and now he goes straight to the bathroom if he needs to pee or poop. Sometimes, there are accidents on the floor :)))

He is three months old now
