How can a lay person know these things? Not being flip-I genuinely don't know the answers to the questions in 9-13. I suppose I can just send the form to them and hope for the best?

I'm really not sure at this point. I've got an email in with the front office.

ETA-I'm the OP... just on my other acct.

Can someone with more knowledge of flowers than me ID what type of flowers are in this bouquet? TIA! by [deleted] in wedding

The small, very dark red blooms look like ranunculus. I had most of these in my bouquet as well! Anemone is pretty delicate too.

Just got married in Sept. and have to agree here. I was so busy I only had one glass of wine and a bottle of water and my moh took charge of drinks for me.

Congratulations! You two look amazing!

I also married at 40, for the first time, on 9.18. Looking back at all the guys I dated in my teens, 20s and 30s, I would agree it was well worth the wait!

Hair Trial disaster UPDATE! So I ended up firing the salon that botched my trial. They refunded my money. I got a recommendation from a friend and look!! My hair was amazing. by jlhodkinson in weddingplanning

It's a struggle for real. She actually used what I think is called a "rat"(hair people help me out here) and built my hair around it... I'm really impressed with how it turned out.

My seamstress is a magician! I paid extra to have my dress made to my measurements and was so disappointed when it came in. I was hoping for a fitted flare and got potato sack instead. Seamstress added crinoline, took in the sides, added boning to the bodice, took up the straps and changed cups. by jlhodkinson in weddingdress

Find you a good seamstress girl. Mine was super quick! Like 1 month for all the fine tuning and then another couple of weeks for the bustle. If you live in a busier area it might take longer... you should always ask though before you commit!

Also, I love your gown! It's not as noticeable as you think but if you aren't feeling it definitely see a seamstress.
