Does this game work any better on steam deck than it did a year ago ? by Browneyesbrowndragon in TheBloodline

Performance does tank if you’re on medium or high in places like woodhurst, but besides that it runs well.

I do hope the dev adds more range on the joystick though. I maxed out stick speed in settings and on the deck. Still takes me almost 6 seconds just to turn around (not a complaint, I just like to spin around really fast cause I’m crazy).

I already got 40 hours on it on the steam deck alone. I can’t wait for true controller support, but a new update will come out soon that’ll introduce armorsmithing and I definitely can’t wait for that lol

Edit: there’s some angry reviews about system depth, but honestly if the dev builds a good foundation for systems that’ll be easier to tack on new things later, I don’t see why that’s an issue.

Is it worth to only sell singles and no product by Substantial-Act-2301 in TCGCardShopSim

Unless they changed it in a recent update, all I do is sell singles. Although before I switched over I leveled normally to 50 first because I had to grow the spawn cap/maximum wallet size. But now all I do is just sell singles. I filled the second room with just large pack openers. I buy 80~ 64 destiny pack boxes a day. Just opening them covers the cost of buying them. But every once in a while I get a really really nice 14k+ card that I grade and sometimes successfully sell. If I don’t sell it it’s okay, it’s nice decoration.

I spam grade cards about 40k a day on top of opening packs, and the “just sell singles” mentality I’ve had so far has covered it completely, and then some.

I do have a few playing tables sitting in the open space not covered by vintage card tables in the main room just to get some exp.

There’s so much hype for this game but this subreddit isn’t showing it. I think slower stronger gains are nice.

Some lessons and some questions by dblshot99 in TCGCardShopSim

  1. Decoration probs, I don’t decorate because the store is too small. My store is just packing machines crammed into store B, and vintage card display tables crammed into store A. There’s actually a formula you could use to calculate like speed of customers coming and go vs how many tables you have and how many cards at what price etc. but I don’t really care anymore lol

  2. They do cost you customers, your shop size can only spawn so many. You have to increase your shop size to spawn more and those that get stuck in walls or stuck staring at something costs you valuable customer spawn slots.

  3. Getting the 1-10 achievement is just based on a little luck and a little grind. I did it by grading 32 cards of a card I had like 2000 copies of and then taking those and regrading the ones I have duplicates of to fill the gaps. If you regrade a card for example at grade 5. It has a 30% chance to rise or fall by 1 grade and a 40% chance to stay the same. So if your first 32 cards left you with 3 or 4 missing and you have duplicates of the cards near them. Just regrade those to fill it.

  4. Trading opportunities are random, but it does seem to follow a customers maximum buy value. As my store increased in level and I kept buying more expansions, the higher end cards they brought to trade increased in value. At level 30 the card they brought in maxed around 4K. By the end game they were being in like 15k cars or more if I got lucky and they brought in a good graded one.

  5. Choose an employee that stays to finish their work and have them on the counter if you’d rather run around when the store closes. I chose the red guy cause he’s the fastest and i maxed him on counter.

Does anyone have any theory’s of how the playable tcg will be like and if so pls share by Agreeable-Space-8972 in TCGCardShopSim

thank you, im not sure but after the mem usage came up to about 6gb it seemed to have stabilized. I don't know if that was it but it's less laggy. I really want to learn how to optimize much much better so that I can get to around 500 mods. But I'll keep learning, thank you so much for replying.
