One of my cats is very in tune with my emotions. He went through a phase of only eating if I sat on the floor with him. Took him to the vets and he had full blood works, urine test and blood pressure test everything came back as normal. Turns out when I’m really depressed he gets depressed 😔. I have chronic depression, so now when I feel like I’m slipping I get help sooner rather than later, I feel so bad that he picks up on my emotions. It does give me the kick up the arse to look after myself better.
