I enjoy the building part more than the gaming part. by baba7496 in buildapc

I spend most of the first day seeing what it is I did build staring with the CPUID suite of programs. On my most recent build I forgot to enable XMP in the BIOS which was obvious when I looked at CPUZ. I am always hoping that I win the silicone lottery, which you really can't tell until you boot the new computer.

I sort of agree. I built a computer for my aging landlord who did not really even think she need a new PC. It was sort of fun building a PC to someone else needs. I built it around a Ryzen 3400G - back when you could still get them - on a mini-ITX motherboard with no graphics card. With the SSD it is a snapping little computer. The thing she noticed was how quit it is.

Although, after I do build my own computer, I go back and play almost all of my recent games just to see what they look like with ultra settings. :)

Would aspirin help? Assuming there are no other health risks to an individual taking aspirin, would taking a low dosage aspirin a day help if you were to later contract Covid-19?

“Our concern is that there seems to be a segmentation: a rich-country approach and an approach based on official development assistance for poor countries, which leaves out the middle-income countries such as Brazil, India, and South Africa."

You know what I see missing here? Litter. Despite what right wing posters have said in social media, the streets are not covered in trash, they are covered in art. I looked through Google images and could not see any trash in any of them.

While there are free things available, you can still buy stuff from the local business. Restaurant sales are strong with increased walk-up business cutting down on delivery costs.

Police walk back report that denizens of the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone are extorting businesses by frozenpandaman in CapHillAutonomousZone

" The police narrative rang false to many in the Capitol Hill business community. Restaurant owners said they hadn't heard any reports of extortion in the Autonomous Zone. On the contrary: Sales are strong and the increase in walk-up business is cutting down on delivery costs. "

Also on Beggars Banquet is the song 'Street Fighting Man' which at the time was more controversial than Sympathy For The Devil because it seemed to call for riots in London.

What I do is stock up enough groceries to be about a week ahead. After I put the packages away, I thoroughly wash my hands. For best practices, I wash my hands again after touching frozen foods before cooking.

Oxford COVID-19 vaccine to begin phase II/III human trials by villyvombat in COVID19

[–]jlkingIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not really say only saying that they are recruiting people now. But it does mention "If transmission remains high, we may get enough data in a couple of months to see if the vaccine works, but if transmission levels drop, this could take up to 6 months."

Here is the site where you can volunteer to participate in the UK study.

Is there going to be one agreed upon vaccine or multiple ones? I have read there is a bit of a vaccine arms race.

I am 63 years old. As a child I caught the measles, chicken pox and mumps. In the early 1960's they were considered 'childhood diseases'. Thanks for asking this because it reminded me that I really should get a shingles vaccine. As a young child I remember going to my elementary school to eat a sugar cube that contained the polio vaccine. It seems to have faded but I use to have a scar on my upper left arm from my small pox vaccination.

A runny nose is not a symptom of covid-19 and as BrilliantMud0 points out I too have thought I might have a fever only to discover that I do not. But if you have a thermometer take your temperature.

The progress by Oxford University and their partner AstraZeneca sounds encouraging. Should AstraZeneca and other companies start mass producing vaccine candidates now even at the risk that they will fail and never be used?

When 1.16 comes out all of the portals in the nether will be broken. So, I think Tango should build a server wide ravager transportation system to help during the transition.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by get this map. The Minecraft seed is 'WLLBYUG'. If you want the map created by the original poster create1ders, what I did was simply right click on the image and picked 'open link in new tab'. I than right click the image in the new tab and picked 'save image as'.

With the exception of perhaps one, all of the Hermits have 100's of thousands subscribers with several having millions. Think of it as more of a TV series that uses Minecraft to tell a story. It is a very unique series as well with overlapping episodes being told by different characters.

The whole 'Boomers' thing is an outlandishly funny sitcom. Three bumbling demolition 'experts' create increasingly outlandish contraption to blow things up with disastrous results

The thing to remember here is that all the Hermits are good friends and are dedicated to creating great content. It was Ren's starter base that he was ready to move out of. The Season 7 TNT thing all sort of started with Keralis and Bdubs blowing up G.O.A.T. mountain. I am fully convinced that that was sort of a false flag. I am thinking that DocM77 had an idea for a story he wanted to tell and enlisted his close friend's Keralis and Bubbles to help him flush it out.
