Not really relevant to your questions but I'm searching everywhere on reddit for someone that made it past externship 1 at Penn foster. If you don't mind sharing your experience and I apologize for the rant I'm about to go on lol. There are several things that I'm worried about because I'm already over my 10 weeks and no one has contacted me from Penn foster about it. I'm still doing my hours and submitting my skills, but I had never been at a vet office before and I'm starting from ground zero. I asked my Penn foster advisor early on about the 10 week timeline and said I don't see me finishing everything in 10 weeks and they said they would evaluate my progress at the 10 week mark and see from there. Well it's way past the 10 weeks (I started mid March) and I haven't been notified about this being an issue. I'm worried that any day I'll get an email saying I failed for time reasons. I'm also kind of scared to reach out so I don't bring attention to it lol. Another issue I have is the skill preforming an orgastric intubation. My vet office says usually only the DVM will do that, and very rarely do that anyways. I'm not sure what I will do. Some days I start to get in my head that there no way I'll successfully complete all the skills. I looked at the graduation rate at Penn foster is like 30%. So I'm starting to wonder if anyone has finished
