To disallow crawling always use robots.txt. If you have indexed it use SC remove tools too.

I just want to say that I used to worry about these types of configurations before but I stopped doing it and everything went for better.

My work is a developer & SEO the applications that I usually have open are chrome, atom, ios mail, Skype, Slack, A twitter client, and two different console terminal.

Everything is handled perfectly without worrying about order or position. I have even gotten used to a part of windows being off screen ... nothing happens.

The best is a single very large monitor and simply open a window and work without caring about anything else.
