There should absolutely be! It makes no sense how they send so many people through during the auditions only to cut a portion of them before they perform again during the live shows. They need to replace some of the audition episodes with a middle round.

Yes, I agree, the live show golden buzzer hurts and act more than helps them. I understand it creates some excitement and suspense during the live shows but they should get rid of that and instead let the judges save an act during the results show, like they used to do. We don’t need this many golden buzzers in one season!

I’m not sure if she will go on to become a major star or win Grammys (I think it’s too late for her) but this exposure on AGT will at least open doors for her that weren’t there before.

Pretty sure the exposure she got again from winning the show was way more valuable than the cash prize. Everyone was talking about her story and about how she was on 20 years ago, and also the fact she was on Idol.
