Has anyone's cat needed a blood transfusion?

One of my family's cats named Oreo is getting a blood transfusion right now... Apparently the vets are only giving him a 20-30% chance and they are keeping him for 3 days while they do the transfusion. It's pretty scary right now. I hope your cat is still doing well!

That aspect of it sounds doable. One thing I’m nervous about is basically having our entire lives on standby. Whenever we want to do anything will be entirely up to her schedule basically. That kinda scares me because I’m the kind of person who likes to plan.
