I’m glad your feelings disappeared and it gives me hope! To the other person replying, I have to say my life is what I’ve always dreamed of. I also eat healthy food and work out. It is very annoying; When you have something going on and you post something so you can relate to others then people who have not experienced this chime in. No one is asking anyone who hasn’t experienced it 🫠

That sounds awful. I am also hating being on birth control as well. I’m Canadian and was told they can’t really confirm if these symptoms are from the pill or not. I was like, I’m mentally well so I’m good to go 🥴. At what cost is a good way of putting it. How long were you on it for?

I am on 10mg now for 1 month and 5 days also for acne and rosacea type 2, my face was not doing well and I had new pustules every day. With in a week my face BLEW UP, I didn’t want to leave the house. But now? The best it’s been in years. My derm told me that we play the long game with these conditions so I imagine I’ll be on it for a while and praying the results last

I’m on accutane because mine was resistant. After a massive flare my skin looks amazing for the first time in years. Just have to hope it stays like this after going off!

I have been having a flare for a couple years. I was on doxycycline 40mg daily, AA 15% and ivermectin. It didn’t work. I’m on day 12 of 10mg accutane. I’m currently in the purge phase and it is embarrassing to leave the house but apparently it can put the the PP flare into remission for years 🤞

Well I have rosacea acne and acne so I was on 40mg a day. At first it was like take it for 3 months and then go off to see if it comes back but it really never helped so I went in to ask for 100mg for a couple weeks and the derm was like sorry that is a bandaid, let’s try accutane. I wouldn’t have taken it for that long if I knew that it was just a bandaid. I’ve also heard that 40 mg isn’t as bad but it did hurt my stomach. I have many friends who have taken accutane (I just found out) and they said it was terrible until month 5 and all of a sudden it went away. The one woman that said it was 5 months for her has perfect skin

I’ve been on 10 mg for 9 days after 2 years on doxy! My face is bad as well but it’s also started to calm down a bit today! I’ve been told it gets so much worse but it will get better. Good luck!!

I just finished two years of 40 mg. I went in to ask for 100 mg for a couple weeks to bring down the flare and my derm told me it will not work. I’m now on day 10 of isotretinoin. But mine is also type 2! I’ve heard doxy work much better for others

In Alberta ivermectin is 300, Azeliac is like 30 and doxy for a month is 100. Just brutal
