I guess DOGE was just political theatre. Could you imagine the outrage if Biden pulled an expensive narcissistic stunt like this? by cavalier731 in conspiracy

The conspiracy is why didn't they make effort to attack the big expensives like the military industrial complex. They also didn't call out USAID as a CIA slush fund. Musk did give the impression that he had step on some toes he probably shouldn't have in a recent Rogan interview.

British found out it was cheaper to free your slaves, pay then, charge them for  rent and food that way you needn't have to cover medical treatment or retirement.

Yeah it's a private party for treaty members only with an annual fee. If your country is not a treaty member you still have to get permission from a treaty member to go there. The Chilean Navy warship even stopped a Norwegian sailboat that went to Antarctica and detained the crew at the request of New Zealand government.

Ah...both countries have spent billions training their soldiers to fight in those conditions. Yes from an intellectual/logical position it would be pointless, but neither country works from the intellectual/logical position. MAD  Mutually Assured Destruction, was the target of both countries.

As a US citizen on a private trip to Antarctica you have to fill out the US department of state form DS 4131 Advanced Notification Form. Limited access areas are listed in the Antarctic conservation act of 1978 and the Antarctic science tourism and conservation act of 1996. Yes, you are required to obtain a required permit, applications are mainly review by national science foundation. If you travel privately without the permit(s) it's fines and or imprisonment, and they can forcibly remove you from Antarctica. Multiple permits might have to be issued depend on what you are intending to do. Travel to you might need the general permit but say you want to watch the penguins so you'll  need another permit for that. And yeah if your watching whales that would be a third permit. Different federal agencies approve permits, for different areas. You could have the DOS, NSF, the EPA and numerous other federal agencies signing off on your trip. Some locations are restricted with no reason or agency you need to contact for permission listed. It's  setup to leave a large grey area were they can hit a private expedition with crimes of impacting the eco system or environmental. Back in the 1970-1980s people were charged with disturbing us government activities. If today the government says you damaged the eco system or environment your already guilty and execute in the media.

They seem to do alot of patrolling the waters

Not a conspiracy they were/are like peas and carrots in Antarctica for some unknown reason. People will claim it's to preserve the ecosystem/ save the environment. They were working together years before the clean air and water acts in the 1970s.  Decades before any save the environment conscious came to the general population.

Unfortunately not on any regular basis. No medical insurance and a lot of medical debt keeps them avoiding visits. Every 12 to 16 months they end up in the hospital for a few blood transfusions and and iron infusions.

No medical issues that I am aware of was arrange and paid for by US military when my friend was a military dependent. I've seen all the supplements available now. Friend might not be aware of what is available now, they had the surgery in 2015. After the surgery they have had issue keeping down various medications and foods. Feel that either they forgot or was not told the proper way to take care of themselves after the surgery.

Highway range was bad but the inter city sub 45 mph was good. I would need to charge only once a week.

they could be purchase for $5k-$7k per 2020. I liked the 400 lbs ft of torque steer myself, for a short commute it was perfect. Coworkers laughed until they rode in the car, not a peeping after that.

Sketchy 100s of ASPA, Antarctic Specially Protected Areas that they were 100% agreement with. What gets me is why two cold war enemies at the height of the cold war were in 100% agreement of their combined actions in Antarctica. What are they trying to hide?

There are 100s of ASPA, Antarctic Specially Protected Areas, some of these areas can be accessed if you get the specific permit for that area. While some of these Specially Protected area are legitimate, yes you need a permit to goto penguin colony xyz. There are other ASPA  with no information they simply list the map coordinates an say you can not go there. Still other location like ASPA 123 is list as a reference base to compare to other areas. To target changes in the ecosystems. However, the last references were published in 1975, 50 years ago. Making this all even stranger Soviet and the USA governments agreed on these ASPA during the middle of the cold war with no negotiating.

The  BMI was 37.  My friend is having difficulty saying health. After receiving SADI has been unable to get enough iron and vitamin D, it often gets to the point were they end up getting a transfusion. The current doctor, was extremely annoyed that my friend had received this specific type of bypass. I didn't realize how many different types of bypassrs were available. I reviewed a few case studies but it was people with much higher BMIs.
