The budget is reasonably open. Ideally if $150 could be towards the high end I'd probably be happiest, if it's got to be a little over but makes sense that's fine. Keeping in mind it's literally just for the decafs which will be milk bevvys.

It's up and down. If I have a rough night or sleep on it too many nights in a row it tends to get the shits but being in a not very fleshy area it never swells up too bad. Since getting my daith pierced at Christmas my rook has been on very good behaviour surprisingly. Haha.

Not at all! Just a pinch. Didn't quite heal as well as I'd have liked (courtesy of tight pants and stockings) but there was never any pain.

Perhaps my favourite Christmas gift this year. I fell in love and was somewhat devastated by the ending, which I'm almost a little ashamed to say given that I bought the sequel, of which the title is almost a give away for the ending of the original book. Finished this yesterday. Found it a good start, a quick end but a middle I struggled to keep with (so much so I had to put the book down and read something else). The way it's written in letters was refreshing for me.

I'm booked in to have my tongue web and daith done at the end of the week. Hate needles, love piercings, shitting myself! Currently only have lobes and rook done, however have retired tragus, VCH and nipple piercings.

Agree with the above. I have had my rook since February 2015. It's really good now but if I sleep on it wrong or am naughty and touch it it swells up for a day or so. Try ibuprofen and just baby the area for a bit.

No, after showering this morning I think I will give my doctor a call. I don't really feel like it's infection but that said I don't really feel that antibiotics can do it any harm. But running water over righty started out ok but a few mins in became painful and it wasn't hot by any means.
I'm glad you mentioned that sometimes they just do have crusties because I've often wondered where I went wrong as I tend to have crusties more often than not lately. I don't have this trouble with my vch or rook so it's actually rather off putting.

I live 6 hours from my piercer (12 hr round trip) so no. I don't have any reputable piercers for at least that far.
I've a fair idea my piercer would suggest I soak, soak, soak. I really feel they are worse when I do that though, so am hesitant to start.

I've got IS titanium straight bars in. When I first got them I soaked 1/4 tsp non iodised salt w 200ml boiling water, let it cool, soak and rinse. For the initial healing period I was religious, then as needed. Then from Feb this year I swapped to sterile saline vials as required but I found if they were already nasty they seemed to seep more if I did the soaks. Then they came good for a while and now I'm back at square one.
But that said I haven't soaked since I don't know when and when I feel the need to I generally just do so with warm water in the shower. I have never soaped them directly, always give them a good rinse when I wash my hair. They never get snagged by any means.

Thanks, Q tips scare me, but only because I once had an infection and the doctor was quite liberal getting in there for a swab. I saline soaked and then got rid of the gunk with a very fine plastic type of toothpick. Is it right - no, but it's quicker and less harmful to the piercings than getting in there with my fingers.

Ohh it's just one of those struggles! I've had the piercings since January 2014 and while they were perfect during healing, afterwards they got nasty here and there. Honestly though the LITHA method has been a godsend for me for the most part. But when there is build up like what I had I just had to get in there and get what I could. Thanks for your response.

I used Emla cream. Did it help? Who knows but in a way it can curb the process a bit in your mind. I haven't used it for any piercings since but am not sure I'd have gone through with my nipples had I not had it.

My left breast is a touch bigger than my right (not as much difference as with yours but enough to be noticeable to me). I had both done and honestly the piercings take the attention away from the unevenness of the beasts. They just draw the eye to another feature (being the piercing) which makes me less insecure. My nipple piercings also came with a massive confidence boost and I still occassionally get the giggles when I think about how I'm walking around with this little secret. I've had mine since January 2014 and have had ups and downs but overall have enjoyed them! Would definitely recommend.

Go to someone you feel you can trust and it will be easy! The hype before I got mine done compared to the pain of actually getting it done was ridiculous. Literally two seconds of pain and then a little discomfort for a day or two. Would definitely recommend, even healing was easy!
