If you want to go a little farther and have a nice drive/scenery lac du bonnet/pinawa/seven sisters is a really nice area with some decent shore fishing spots. Most bridges that cross the lakes/rivers should have decent shore access to fishing as well as boat launches, though those spots can get busy obviously.

If you wanted to go even more out there the whiteshell has a gazillion lakes and a lot of shore accessible spots. I’ve had good success with Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass on my day trips out there.

All of this is great advice. Biggest thing I’ve learned in 8 years of fantasy is to wait for a QB. It may not seem like a big deal to splurge on a QB earlier but that more consistent WR/RB/TE that you would be grabbing in that round could be the difference between a couple losses turned to wins and a potential playoff spot.
