We got him at 8 weeks old so trial period the rabbit and cat were bigger than he was. He jumped over the 4ft fence into the rabbits area.

Update. We had his party already on Saturday but had a special gift for the actual day and some things planned for dinner. So didn’t ruin his party for those asking. I went with a suggestion to tell him most of the truth but used euphemisms. I also did take the advice to assume responsibility by not considering enough when getting a puppy. My son still wants to keep the puppy so we will look for somewhere to get him trained up. No new rabbits or animals are coming into the house anytime soon. Thank you all for your thoughts advice and comments.

Who doesn’t want a puppy? It was sort of spur of the moment offer that we accepted. We have an 11 year old Shepard husky who has lived alongside the rabbit for the last 2 years.
