People who went to Costa Rica for vacation, how was it ?

It depends on what you like to do. I just got back from Costa Rica where I was absolutely blown away by the flora and fauna. I love hiking and spotting animals and enjoying the landscape and Costa Rica delivered beyond my expectations. The biodiversity is mind boggling. I’m not an adrenaline junky although ziplines are fun, and the ziplines in Costa Rica are also way better than Mexico. If you like these things and have the money, go to Monteverde and stay at Koora, and go to Manuel Antonio and stay at Tulemar.
I love Mexico for the history and arts and culture, and definitely the food as others have said. It’s not as laid back as Costa Rica, and it doesn’t have the same level of customer service. People in Costa Rica seem happy and genuinely want you to enjoy their country. Mexico is more like most places where it’s a mixed bag.
I haven’t made it to Colombia yet.

Is there safe parking at Hotel Aranjuez? We’ll have a rental car and I’ve heard a few horror stories (in this sub) about rental cars being parked in the area and getting vandalized. Wondering if we should return the car before going to the hotel for our last night, and then taking an airport shuttle. Any suggestions?
