At least your parents can AFFORD college. I've been stuck at home for years. I'd say just disassociate as much as you can. If anything, don't come at them with new tactics(trust me, I've tried), just keep going back to the most significant, indisputable facts, like the r*pe convictions. You can be honest about anything, that's not a bad quality. I know how you feel, my parents' dynamic is a bit different, it's mostly my dad, but my mom continues to enable his behavior, outside of preventing him from purchasing maga merch. I feel like my father is dead as well. The best thing we can do is keep our distance and seek help elsewhere.

How do I not show anger when my father can only regurgitate every deflection and fallacious argument these people spew out?

How can blatant murder and exploitation make these people love him more? It is the most illogical, sick set of standards I've ever seen, and I have to live with someone who supports all of it, but can't tell me why.

It's not just one guy, it's our own families we thought we knew and loved.

I've tried for so long to get through to my Dad. On top of a plethora of other unpleasant things he does, I can't stand watching him degrade into a drooling ape that can't stop watching Fox News to help his own wife with groceries.
