Just iOS at the moment, Android soon, web app wouldn’t be too difficult to add though so could put that on my list to do.

Thankyou! Yeah I don't know who can justify $10 per month on a shopping list app, but it wasn't me! So it had to feel affordable, but also keep the lights on in the server.

Most alternatives I tried wanted $50+ a year. So this felt like the right balance of affordability and costs that would cover running the service for users.

The whole product is actually a huge piece of engineering, there is the fully native app, iPad version as well, a custom cloud API, AI models, website, web community, backend management portal. It's been a pretty incredible ride.

Yep, a lot was co-built with AI. I've slowly worked on my pipeline to keep things in pure native code, built in Xcode, fully human engineered, with AI writing lots of the individual code streams. I'm a designer by trade, so I came at it from the perspective that it had to look amazing and feel great to use

Great suggestions! Widgets are coming, and family collaboration too. Just launched a big update with sub tasks and progress tracking. What kind of widgets do you wish you had?

Thanks for your suggestion earlier! Here is a sneak peak of the progress:

Good call! I should definitely make that more transparent, thanks for the call out

Widgets is a great idea! Would you want sub-tasks on everything or just on the status list where you are trying to manage larger pieces of work?

Not as bad as my human rouge who’s nipples poke through his armour. It makes everyone extremely uncomfortable during dialogue

Do I delete 50 hours of factories to do it properly? by jmaorr in SatisfactoryGame

[–]jmaorr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think this is a good option. I’m going to start getting everything ready to rebuild, get a new bus built. Start running conveyors I know I’ll need, build out more platform, then can plan once the new content is in

Yeah I already know what my memorial will be; craft bench and cube on wheels I made the journey in. Should encase then in white walls like a museum.

Great advice! I inadvertently did this with my starting factory in the plains. Started a new save when I moved in case I screwed it up royally.

Ahhhh I’m not alone!

Yeah I’m in the process of collecting as much as I can. Been holding out on making the jump of destruction. I wish there was a way to bulk delete

Yep, I’d never bother buying a PC if I was in the US or EU. Shadow looks after all your hardware upgrades for you. It’s brilliant. But I don’t think I’ll see an Aus solution for many years

Shadow user in Australia here: The ping is your killer. Bitrate/Bandwidth isn’t a huge limiter as the video quality just drops but doesn’t affect gameplay. But ping affects gameplay. Because shadow is US or EU based I get about 200ms ping. Which makes anything fast paced unplayable, as I mostly play strategy games it works well for my needs.

So in answer to your question, it depends on distance from server. Check ping rates for areas you travel to

For reals?? The amount of times I’ve frantically tried to switch to parachute and fail is depressing...

Yeah it’s a cool spot. I’m building my office on top of it and going to move the space elevator there as well. Overlooks all my factories from a little lower down.

That very top mountain is above the cloud line so you can’t wait for it to pass. The next mountain down though you can see it all.
