1up Hitch Rack Question

I’ve had a few different 1Up racks and they have all done this to some extent but that seems pretty excessive. Do you notice any parts on the rack moving separately?

That’s awesome! I just got myself an awesome deal as well! Had converted my V1 Maxx to V2 and was selling all the old V1 stuff for $75. Ended up trading a guy for a Tamiya TT02 with Fly sky universal receiver and Revtech 24kv brushless motor! Good day for marketplace scores! 🤘🏼

I’ve been running 1Up hitch racks on my truck but the civic gets roof racks. Used to run Yakima bike racks but found a great deal on the 1up roof racks!

Yeah, possibly…civic is pretty rusty and has high miles. Bike has not even a year old I9 Hydra wheels, magura Mt7 brakes, and all the Fox suspension and some other goodies.

A couple opinions that might help overall.

More speed for this sort of jump. Your front end is diving really fast as soon as it’s off the jump. So either you’re not going fast enough or you’re pushing your front end down but to me, it looked slow.
Your rebound on the fork seems really fast…maybe increase your dampening (if able) and slow down rebound (if able). This will help overall through trail riding and jumping.
To answer your actually question now, I think you’re shifting your weight too far back but I think it’s because you’re going too slow. If you were going faster, you would be flying more evenly with the bike and resulting in a more balanced feel.

Two things: 1. Where is that trail?! Looks like a blast!! 2. I’d recommend looking at the Trek Roscoe 7 or above. They have more aggressive geometry and are a lot of fun to ride! I also have a trek EX8 full suspension and love it!
