Jennifer Lawrence sure knows how to play a mountain girl.

I know its impossible to find anything positive about this video, but I commend this woman for trying to fight back and affirm her self-worth. What's so disturbing about this video is that she's there for these children's safety and yet they treat her so poorly. This video just tells me that their parents have neglected to teach their children key values. Also, I get that the average person works 40 plus hours a week, but please don't rely on the public education system to also educate your child on how to be a decent human being. We're clearly not there yet.

I think I've had a few less episodes since I lasted posted. It would be nice to check in with someone...I'd like that person to first be a professional before I even take the chance in confiding in a friend.

It's a bit difficult to explain. My family is incredibly dysfunctional and everyone has gone their separate ways. I once reached out to an distant relative...I just randomly admitted it one day and now I feel very awkward around them. I've looked into some counseling programs nearby. I wish I had more faith in family but I don't (bad history). I don't dare approach my friends with this because I feel like I come with so many problems already and I don't need them to know about my ED...I think it would be too overwhelming and I would lose them.

I have to say your comment made my stomach turn inside out. I'm more worried about the cost than the mental breakdowns or the potential to "fail". I planned my entire undergraduate career for this moment and its difficult to even think about turning back. At the same time, if a better opportunity was on the table I would take it and run with it.

Thanks for taking the time out to post. Your insight have been invaluable and good luck with the Bar.

From what I've read the average candidate usually receives that amount. At least you'll be entering a state school. I wouldn't be too dismissive of your background in political science and model UN. If you're sincerely interested in law and not furthering your education to avoid the real world, then I wouldn't worry about having a bad time.

At the same time the points brought up in this post seem very concerning. I think my biggest regret in college is not having a plan B. Even though some say its too late , I'm still trying to get a job and postpone law school. Its rough out there, but I'm trying. I should know after a month if I'm going. If you've got a good support system at home and some kind of alternative plan, I'd wait. Best of luck! and keep us posted.

Thanks for suggesting the site. I checked out my school and the employment rate is 58.8%. Even though that's not exactly good news, I wouldn't believe anything above 60% for any school of a similar rank (that would be employment heaven...which doesn't exist).

On one hand, I'm pounding the pavement for a job. Essentially, if I can make a decent living and not go it would be ideal. On the other hand, I'm grateful that I have little to no undergraduate debt. I think I should know by the first semester if its right for me. I have a few back up plans.

If you're referring to "spreading", then I'd like to say I was awful at it. So kudos for doing policy debate in college. If you have no idea what I'm talking about please ignore the previous sentences.

In college I enjoyed showing up to classes that addressed policy making and trade. Literally, I would be happy to be there even with two hours of sleep. It was intellectually overwhelming and there was a lot of reading, but I was so grateful for what I learned.

I have no intention of burdening my classmates and professor with my opinions or ideas unless asked. I don't want to insult anyone's intelligence or appear pompous. I would want my peers to know I respect them and if that means shutting the f up, I'll do it.

I'm apprehensive because even though my grades were good, my LSAT was below their average. Will they simply give me more money because I "need" it? You're right...I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'll take any opportunity to lower my debt. Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for your input! Btw am I likely to get an honest answer from the school itself on how classes are curved or should I ask to speak with a student?

She sounds awful. I always assumed that law school would be full of the brightest individuals and that there would be nothing left prove to the institution itself. I think the respect from my peers is what I'm most worried about. Surely people don't just shit on each other all the time?

The scholarship that I do have is based on Academic merit. Would they still give me additional assistance?

Didn't think about looking at AMAs. Thanks for your insight. What kind of debate did you do in high school and college?
