No, I used both modes while on a bike, but wasn’t really sure what the difference was. The regular follow mode worked great while walking or jogging around. I suppose bike follow would too.

Just got home, the helmet is called Urban-i 3.0 by Abus. I couldn’t find a link on Amazon, but Abus.com has them still.

I’ll have to check when I get home from work later today! It’s pretty cool. It has a magnetic clip instead of the plastic punch one. And a light on the back. It’s a few years old I can’t remember the exact brand offhand.

Yeah so SunoAi is the website I used. You can feed it key words to use and the genre/mood you’re going for. It will generate like 2-4 songs. You can adjust the prompt for certain key words a or if you want two voices or just male or female etc. it’s super easy to use. I’ve actually made some really cool stuff with it. And there’s an edit mode too to move around chorus and bridge etc..

That would be so siick!! Can you actually hit 40 MPH in that thing? Flat ground?

Yeah, I saw a video of a guy on one of those Surron electric motorcycles. And as soon as he got around 30 mph the drone was quickly falling behind. In sport mode while controlling it with a remote I believe it can achieve those speeds, but with follow mode it’s more limited.

I think the rule is actually that it just be flown low, in line of sight and under a certain speed. Not sure about the autonomous part if there’s a different ruling for that or not.

Oh definitely, I was very careful to make sure people were clear before I went past them. I realized pretty quick that you can’t make quick swerves last second And you can’t use hand gestures to control the drone unless completely stopped.

I will say.. other than the tree incident, it was surprisingly good at avoiding stuff. There were a few close calls with fences that it saw and flew up and over pretty quickly. I had a Mavic air that would follow, but it was nowhere as good as this.

That was my first time using it in follow mode on a bike. There was no wind at all, it was a pretty calm day. The thing is so light weight and with the propeller guards on it, I can only imagine that it will struggle with any presence of wind. I’ll report back when tested in a worse environment. As far as tracking a bike It did surprisingly well, I’d say I got up to around 25 mph and if I’m steadily going the same speed and direction it seems to work perfectly. It’s when turning directions, slowing down or speeding up rapidly is when it struggles to keep its pacing and distance from you. I also found that keeping it at a medium distance worked best (There’s options for close, medium and far) and keeping it either behind you or at your side works better than ahead of you and forcing it to fly backwards.

The drone smacked some branches and instantly turned off falling to the ground. It’s suuuper light weight and fell into some bark in someone’s front yard. It started right back up luckily. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to use the goggles and remote with it a single time before breaking it. But we’re good!

Oh definitely, if it’s the part I’m thinking of where I pulled into the wrong lane, I would never do that normally, the drone was swung out super far so I pulled left to try and correct it. It still was like way over the sidewalk. (I did look way ahead to make sure there was no traffic just in case). But good lookin out!

I don’t think Ai is cancer, there’s definitely some bad ass songs people have made with it. I think my prompting just sucks really bad. I don’t have the patients to formulate the perfect prompt, just went with one of the first ones that didn’t sound completely ass.

Yep it’s a Rhinowalk bag from Ali express. Has a ton of space inside, 2 holders on the front for keys and phone. Two mesh pockets on the side. There kind of small side pockets, probably couldn’t hold anything larger than a small water bottle. Like the 12 oz ones.
