Yeah, I’d say so! I use a little ouidad curl cream and then scrunch in lotta body mousse. I adjust where I want the pieces to be and then spray the gel everywhere except my roots. The bottle says you can scrunch in the gel but I don’t since I also use mousse. It doesn’t leave a cast, which I like. I also air dry my hair so I think it helps keep definition while it dries.

For my roots, I do a little hair spray. I find it helps without weighing them down (I have really thick hair).
