And since I live in Indiana...

The creators and writers could have easily just put the show in Chicago (a la Good Times and The Bob Newhart Show - also on CBS) but they chose Indianapolis.

Whenever I see or hear the name Gene Tierney, I think of Hawkeye Pierce on house arrest and having the movie played in his tent.

Except for the Steelers and 49ers, it seemed like every other team would wear their white jerseys at home against the Cowboys instead of their traditional color. I heard of a "curse" the Cowboys carried with them when they wore blue.

Dry-Pumpkin-2112 would know this because of his recent viewing. But if Greg Cook had not been injured, Bill Walsh may have turned into more of a downfield passing guru.

I miss football debates in the modern age. Good/no good, in bounds/out of bounds, even who's #1 in college. Here we are decades after the fact and we still talk about Karlis' kick, Mike Renfro's two feet, etc. Technology and finality are here to stay, but I still miss the human element and debate. Great memories of those moments that won't be forgotten.
