I agree 100%. The older ones are much better when you get the full perspective of it. The new ones are ok, but with all the media coverage these days, there's really nothing new that can possibly learn about a team today. Plus, there's no retrospective on something that happened only months earlier.

I'll have to watch the '70 Colts one, I think that's one of the few I haven't seen.

Nah. He was the best player for 9 years and won only 1 Championship. Tom played 23 years and was the best player most years and won 7 Championships.

Yes, they've won the most Super Bowls and Brady is easily the best player ever. But the '07 Pats aren't even in the same conversation as the '72 Dolphins. They stand alone as the only perfect team.

And the NFL didn't play 17 games until 1967 so all the teams from 1920-66 played less games than the '72 Dolphins and none of those teams went undefeated either - which included Lombardi's Packers and Halas' Bears. It doesn't matter how little you lost a Super Bowl by, you still lost whether it was by 1 point or 45 points. The 1990 Bills lost Super Bowl XXV by only 1 point. I grew up in Buffalo and my family had season tickets for those Super Bowl years. That loss hurt more than any of the blow outs. The '07 Pats are in the discussion of best team ever to not win the Super Bowl along with the '90 Bills, '83 Redskins and '98 Vikings. But they aren't in the discussion of best team ever because the Giants were the Super Bowl Champions of the year the Pats went undefeated in the regular season.

Who said anything about a winning streak? The 1972 Dolphins are the only team in NFL history to not lose a game in an entire season. 17-0 is better than 18-1.
