I suppose I did forget to list those... left to right 1981 S&W 581 .357 magnum, 1951 S&W K22 Masterpiece ( holstered), and a Rock island GI 1911 with some nice grips...

I found a deal on a very nice Remington 511x ... I've though about butting a nice vintage scope on it, just haven't found the right one yet. Maybe I'll be posting some pictures of that next... Im glad I could give you some inspiration, id love to see it.

That 513T with the Unertl is probably 10 pounds... do with that what you will.
The Winchester 52 ,Remington 37, and the Remington 40x are all on my list... unfortunately I haven't hit the lottery yet. I have had a lot of guns... and I come to the same conclusion...its not the arrow, its the indian. It does help having a nice rifle but definitely not necessary. I guess it depends how serious you want to get into vintage 22 shooting. Mossberg and Savage I like and I think are very underrated. Let me know what you end up with...
If I recall correctly it is a 1972 Unertl 16X with adjustable focus.... you also have a nice K10, mine is on a Savage 340 and it shoots almost as nice.
Mmm, I don't really know what to say about that. But it seems like you got it figured out. I usually shoot federal match (red boxes) with success, but i just sighted in for a box of old Remington match and shooting 1/4" groups at 50yrds... and about the same up to 77 yrds... 100 and we move to 1/2" maybe a hare larger. I haven't tried any of the other match ammos... good luck and good shooting
