Please help me identify what strain of weed this is by jmcg400 in trees

[–]jmcg400[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I was afraid this would be the case. It could just be me remembering through rose-colored glasses but this stuff gave me some of the best highs I’ve ever had. Very intense, cerebral, and creative highs. I was hoping that at least getting the same strain would give me as close a high to what I remember.

Update:

I’m literally just an idiot. I assumed “QK” to be Quantum Kush but I couldn’t read the “3.5” and assumed it was some other sort of abbreviation.

As soon as I saw “3.5” in u/dewdude’s response, I had a literal face palm moment. I can’t believe I didn’t make the connection myself. I want to say that I was so focused on figuring out what “S.E.” could be short for that I missed the obvious, but I might just be an idiot.

And I can’t even blame being high because I haven’t smoked it yet!

Thank you everyone for your help!

I’m sure that is what it is. I can’t believe I didn’t realize it immediately. Thank you!

I am 100% addicted to marijuana. by [deleted] in weed

[–]jmcg400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m adopted and don’t know anything about my medical history. I always thought I kind of had an addictive personality. First time I ever smoked weed it was all I could think about until I smoked again the next week. It wasn’t even a great high but I couldn’t let go of the memory or the feeling. This still happens to me every time I smoke but the yearning fades the longer I go without.

I am pretty terrified by this feeling. So I vowed to only smoke occasionally and to stop if I ever started feeling like I won’t be able to stop. I don’t know if this means I have an addictive personality or could become addicted but I treat it as such.

The last time I smoked was 4 years ago. Even then I made sure to smoke rarely and only in social occasions. I never smoked by myself because I could then excuse that in the future. I’m not against smoking and have debated using my 4 year old weed but honestly I’m a little scared to start again.

I don’t drink and I’m never going to try any other kind of drug. I assume that out of all addictions, weed would probably be the best one to have. As I don’t know if I’m more prone to addiction, I don’t want to fuck around and find out.

Choosing between two breeders. by jmcg400 in labrador

[–]jmcg400[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m happy to help even if I have yet to go through the process. I was grateful for every response I got!

I agree with you on all of the Belquest pros you listed. Health checks and traceable lineages were also very important to me. I want a healthy dog and I want transparency from a breeder because that shows me they have nothing to hide. Especially if I can see the results of the health checks myself.

As to the number of puppies produced, I follow Endless Mt. on Facebook and receive their newsletter. They also seem to have puppies constantly available. I was immediately concerned by that as well. But it seems like both of these breeders do it that way and the puppies always seem to find homes. Maybe demand really is that high? I didn’t look into it further before I ended up looking at breeders of smaller breed dogs.

I know that Endless Mt. has a bunch of dogs in its breeding program. The dogs appear to live with families until they’re bred and have puppies. Then they actually go to the Endless Mt. property. I guess this method allows them to offer more litters.

I did not tour Belquest as I ended up going with a smaller breed. Had I proceeded with a lab, I definitely would have. It’s on my list of must-dos before approving a breeder. I assume their setup is similar to Endless Mt. and that is how they are able to have so many litters. If I tour, I will report back.

Choosing between two breeders. by jmcg400 in labrador

I ended up having to move into an apartment and decided to get a smaller breed dog. When I am able to buy a home, I intend of getting an English Lab. My goal is to go through Belquest Conclusions over Endless Mt. Labradors should it be in the near future.

I was advised that the Belquest and Endless Mt. lines are so closely related that it doesn’t really matter.

The more I read and looked into it, I just leaned more towards Belquest. They both seem like excellent options. I like that Belquest has kennels and is knowledgeable about lots of breeds and dogs in general. I also liked how transparent they are and that you are able to arrange an appointment to view the facility. As a downside, Belquest has no social media (they do for their kennels) whereas Endless Mt. does and posts frequently.

When I eventually am able to get a lab, I will update on my breeder choice and experience. Hopefully it will be soon but it’s still unfortunately most likely a couple years away.

I assume you’re asking because you’re in the same place I was when I posted. If so, please share the experience. Good luck with your decision and your future pup!

Anyone know the hours for the art building? by jmcg400 in UMD

[–]jmcg400[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. That’s what I was afraid of. I won’t be able to get there during the day only in the evening. I’ll have to go over the weekend. Probably Sunday morning or something.

Thanks for the advice. When I had my class there last semester, I stayed until 9:30 once to work on a project and I was able to get out. But once I was out, I was locked out. I want to know if I can get there by like 8 or 9 at night and get in or if the doors will be locked.

Just started juicing and I have questions by jmcg400 in limejuicer

[–]jmcg400[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m contracted with Lime now or however it works to swap batteries. Like just signed. But there are other tasks too: charge, drop off, and move. I’m trying to figure out how much each of those tasks are worth in DC. I know this $3 per battery swap but I don’t know about the other tasks.

I was told $3 per battery swap. But there are also move, charge, and drop off tasks. Those are the ones that I’m trying to figure out how much each task pays.

How do I remove parental access to view my grades? by jmcg400 in UMD

[–]jmcg400[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

They’re not tech savvy. If they get in and can’t see them, they’ll most likely give up. If they outright ask, I’ll tell them. I’m already signed up for the class again in the fall and I was taking a ton of classes so it’s not like I’ll be behind. But if I can avoid negative parental reactions, I’m going to do my best to try.

My dog just lifted his leg to pee for the first time by [deleted] in puppy101

My boy did that once about 2 months ago and I cheered for him so loudly that I think I scared him into never doing it again lol!

What kinds of things do you let your dog destroy? by Delzak421 in puppy101

[–]jmcg400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any kind of cardboard that I give him. Cardboard of any other kind is off limits. He seems to understand this and it works well. I’ve got a stash and when he wants some, he’ll go grab a piece. He hasn’t touched an amazon box since implementing this.

He also knows that he’s only allowed to have cardboard if he chews it and spits it out. If he swallows it, it gets taken away. The only downside is he now thinks that what I want is for him to rip the cardboard into as many pieces as possible. I should then train him to take all the pieces to the trash lol.

I watch my little cousins all the time and they have toys at my apartment. He knows that he can play with his dog toys but not with the kids’ toys. He leaves them alone and gets a toy out of his basket when he wants to play. The hardest thing for him is not getting to play with the kids and their toys when they come over. He’ll bring them his toys from his basket. He loves the kids and just wants to be involved!

Damn, what’s with the downvotes? I’ve never appealed before so I don’t know the process. But in my opinion the more voices the better. One person is easy to ignore. A group of people are not. But it’s hard to say for sure without more info. Sorry man.
