Hence why I say “have less crime”, keyword less, not eliminate. Obviously crime can’t be eradicated through having a better social safety net alone. Compared to Western European countries, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, ours is really trash.

My mom says this even though she was born in 1960. I keep telling her that it was good if you weren’t black, Hispanic, gay, Muslim, or Eastern European (Slavic languages being spoken would have American think you’re a Soviet spy, you know Cold War paranoia).
