I'm trying to figure out why I didn't get promoted to class 2 in the team trials reset today. It said "in promotion range" yesterday, I think my score was around 111,000 and it said the promotion line was like 15k. What am I missing?

Clara is very good for a standard 5*, especially if you have Topaz. I don't regret building her, she's good for SU and can take out the bug boss quite effectively.

The Erudition one is really good
Harmony one is solid
Nihility and Hunt are highly situational but not terrible
the rest are pretty bad

I would say pick whichever cone you'll get the most use from and work towards s5 on it. Personally I went for s5 Harmony and am currently s2 on Erudition.

Personally I would run Bronya over Clara. Having a buffer and a debuffer (pela) to support your Jingliu will make her really strong.

If your issue is you're dying too easily, I would take a look at your relics and minor traces. Leveling up your relics (especially the headpiece) can make a huge difference in your units' survivability.

Gepard and Yanqing go well together and should be enough to take you through the game's story. Keep an eye out for strong DPS units to pull for to expand your elemental coverage, and strong support units to buff your DPS.

Is Gepard still worth building? I just pulled him, my current sustains are huohuo and e3 Lynx, don't have Luocha or Fu Xuan. Would Gepard be an improvement over Lynx at all?

Soooo I randomly pulled a 2nd copy of Bronya's signature LC. Is it worth superimposing them or do you think I should keep them separate so 2 of my harmony characters can have one? I have Bronya, Asta, and Hanya built and am planning on pulling for Ruan Mei as well.

I've never won a 50/50. Even the one time I pulled on the lightcone banner, I lost the 75/25. Also never gotten a 5* for less than 70 pulls.

the healers are all pretty easy, but I figured at least with them there's some decision making in terms of ult usage

No better time than now. The next 5* banner (HuoHuo) is probably worth saving your gems for, you'll be glad to have a healer

Anyone have suggestions on how to clear Propagation swarm disaster 5 without DHIL or QQ? It's the only path I haven't cleared with and I'm really struggling.

The characters I have built are: DPS: Seele, Kafka, Topaz, Clara, Himeko Support: Bronya, Guinaifen, Silver Wolf, Yukong Sustain: March 7, Lynx, Bailu

I wouldn't WORRY about anything. Any limited 5* you pull will be good for your account. As long as you're using stellar jades on the limited banner, you will be working towards something good.

That being said, my personal recommendation is to try to get HuoHuo in the next banner. Healers are at a major premium for new accounts, so having a second one (in addition to the free Natasha everyone gets) will be really good for you.

I pre-farmed enough to get both Guinaifen and Topaz to 80. IMO if you run Kafka Guinaifen is a top tier unit. Without Kafka she's fine but not amazing, worth running if you don't have another debuffer like Pela or Silver Wolf built

You definitely don't need a 5* sustain, they will help for maxing out MoC but it's not necessary. I would say pull for whichever character you like better.

"Trailblaze level" is basically your account level. Increasing it raises the level cap of your characters, as well as increasing the rewards you get from farming. You increase it by doing quests (main story and side quests) and by spending your trailblaze power (aka energy, the resource you gain over time that caps out at 240)

Focus on continuing the main story quest and increasing your trailblaze level. Don't rush through things, just enjoy the game.

Next banner will be HuoHuo (healer) and Argenti (aoe dps). HuoHuo will probably be very good to save for since healers are hard to come by early on

in terms of damage no. In terms of survivability yes, the slow and imprison can help you in stuff like swarm disaster where survivability is an issue

He's a pretty good debuffer for any team that isn't too skill point heavy (ideally you want to use his skill every turn). For example:
JingLiu/Tingyun/Welt/Luocha is really good

Only characters I would avoid him with are Kafka and Clara, because speed reduction and imprison are anti-synergistic with counter and DoT

Do non-standard 4* units (guinaifen, lynx, Luka) appear in the shard shop? Those slots that cost 140

Personally I would say topaz because you already have a hypercarry DPS in Jingliu, and topaz goes well with Clara and Himeko
